Rachel’s round up: Advanced skills Training

Last Friday I again delivered a day of advanced impression training to a fantastic group of nurses and therapists at Belfasts Henry Schein showroom, my final course for 2014.RR2

This course is aimed at any DCPS wishing to get more involved in delivering a great patient experience.
After a short lecture, delegates learnt how to take acceptable Alginate impressions, a skill which can then easily be utilised in practice for all manor of applications. Followed by two stage silicone impressions ideal for those wanting to be more hands on in the record taking stages of orthodontic treatment, in particular Invisalign. We also focus heavily on communication and patient management equipping nurses with the necessary skills to feel more confident and deliver a fantastic experience to their patients.

I am pleased to am announce that in 2015 we will delivering many more of these fantastic training days at various locations around the UK. We are teaming up with Dental Nurse Network and their sponsors Henry Schein, Adec and GC.
The course structure will vary dependent on the location, you can expect;
