Meet the team – Michael Bentley

During the last 15 years Michael has been a Practice Manger both within Optics and Dentistry.

In 2001 he became the Practice Manger of Boots Dentalcare in Birmingham. Boots Dentalcare delivered the highest standard of training and development to all its staff and Michael gained much experience in his 5 years of working in this pressurised environment. Michael has a business diploma in Distribution Management. Michael has 15 years experience as a Practice Manager and 7 years experience working as a Treatment Coordinator. Michael is a qualified and GDC registered DCP.

Michael moved direction after Boots Dentalcare sold into independent practice to JM Dentalcare.

Michael has been working as Practice Manager for JM Dentalcare for the last 8 years and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the whole team, showing how a Practice Manager with autonomy can achieve great success.

In June 2012 Michael exploded onto the lecturing circuit with his first dental lecture to 100 practice managers, explaining his 24 compantancies of Practice Management, giving autonomy to Practice Manager’s and how Treatment coordination can make such a difference to independent practice.

Michael is also a semi professional actor and singer and often can be seen treading the boards or gigging with a band. This performance experience, Michael has added into his consulting and presenting style, which makes him very engaging.
