Dental training – using positive language

A task for you:

At your next team meeting ask each person to team member to pick out a work that everyone uses in the practice when communicating with patients’ and ask them to provide a more positive word to use instead.

When I go into practices we create a list of banned words and list the alternative.

Classic examples of banned words are: surgery, scalings, check up, inspection, cancellation.

See what your team come up with to create a language in your practice that is positive!
