Dental photography: Implementing a system

Everyone who knows me knows that I love systems. For those of you who don’t know me, you have just found that out!

Dental photography should be a big system within your practice.

Many dentists take don’t take photographs as part of their new patient exam – you really should. This keep your records to a standard and helps with communication.

Every week I hear from dentists ” I have just completed a great case but didn’t have pre op shots” Is this you?

Why not include it as standard as part of your examination?

What else should you be doing?

Well besides the obvious with post op shots you could take photos of:

  1. Preps
  2. Temps
  3. Wax ups
  4. Lab work on the model

Photography can easily become a huge part of your practice!
