Dealing with new patient emails tip 3 – receiving the email

How does the patient know that their email was sent? and you have received it?customer service

Why not put an auto-response on? It is simple and easy to do, as soon as the NP sends an email to you they get a reply.

In this reply tell them when they should they get a reply from you, is it one hour? One day? Is it the weekend and you are closed?

On this auto-response you can include a link to your social media channels and website – keep them engaged for as long as possible!

Lastly are you sure you have received every email? Do you check your junk folder at the same time as checking your inbox? You could be missing a trick here so make sure that you do!
