Similar problem as Obama?

So Obama is in his second term. Personally I thinks he’s great, there’s something about him and I wish we had a leader like him.

Right now with the vote being so close, he has to prove himself and join the reds and blues together.

Do you have a similar problem in your practice? I often witness nurses V receptionists. One team working as two separate teams. No support for each other, no willing to help or get involved.

I am always asked by practice owners “what do I do?” “Why is this the case?”

Why does this happen? Quite simply the leader(s) in the practice have allowed this to happen! Dentists take the nurses side, as they work with them all day. Practice managers have the receptionists back as they she more of what they do day to day – and the battle begins.

If this happens in your practice you need to stamp it out immediately.

I would cross train everyone and create the vision for the practice – what should the team look like, how should they behave, what’s not acceptable anymore. Trust me if you don’t have a connected team then your not going anywhere fast.

Take a look at Barack Obama’s speech – see if you could change some words and make it relevant to your role as the leader of your business.

“I believe we can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggests. We’re not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are and forever will be the United States of America”.
